WARDNER’S NEW SCHEME – He Is Now Planning for Taking in a Big Lot of Supplies.

Harry Green, who recently returned from Dawson City, in an interview in the Spokesman-Review says:

“James F. Wardner has gone into the transportation business.  He is planning to take advantage of the scarcity of supplies which is expected to arise at Dawson City during the coming year.  He is securing all the money that he can get hold of and with this he is purchasing such supplies as are used in that country.  He confidently expects to take over 40,000 tons of provisions in.  He has entered into a transportation arrangement with Brooks, the packer for the Canadian government, by which the Canadian packer agrees to assist him in getting the immense amount of supplies into the interior.
