PLACER ENTERPISE.

Mr. A.E. Watts, of Liverpool, England, is organizing a developing company in that far-away land for the opening of a number of ledge propositions in this vicinity, on which he has an option.  Also for operating placer ground amounting to 360 acres – also held on option by him – owned by Dr. Watt, W.S. Cranston and Mr. Melton, including adjacent placers on Palmer Bar, about 6 miles from Cranbrook and near the railroad right of way.  These placers have been operated at intervals for many years, at considerable profit.  It is proposed that the company to be organized will undertake very extensive operations and work the consolidated properties by the hydraulic system.
