Plungers Club: 0050.0018

PLUNGERS CLUB HARD AT WORK.

Training in the morning and in the evening, the Plungers Swim Club is preparing for a summer season of meets which will be highlighted on Sam Steele Days.

On Aug. 13, an international meet open to clubs and individuals will be held at Gyro Pool.  This Saturday, the Club travels to Invermere for a swim contest and later will take part in meets at Kimberley and Chapman Camp.

With increased membership, older members of the club train in the morning before pool hours, and younger members at 7 p.m.

The club is hoping to win at least one of the team trophies this year but will need entrants for all events in order to give competition to the powerful Chapman Camp Sea Horse Club.

Anyone may join the Plungers by attending team practices.
