Lumber Protection: 0051.0226

            A delegation of British Columbia lumbermen is in Ottawa giving the Dominion government a few pointers on protection.  The lumber interest of the Kootenays is sadly in need of tariff protection against the United States.  Between the manufacturer, miner, lumbermen and other Canadian industries, Grit free-traders are fast becoming acquainted with the essential needs of British Columbia and of our expanding Dominion.
