Fort Steele Lumbering: 0051.0225

A large number of young men of Fort Steele are now working in the lumber camps.

J.F. Byrne, who has been working in lumber camps near Marysville, returned to Steele Monday.

In this vicinity, lumbering seems to be the work this winter beyond the ordinary.  This is also true of other places in the district.
