The Columbia Basin Institute of Regional History agrees to provide the Applicant with digital file copies of images from the electronic databases of the Columbia Basin Image Bank or from the Columbia Basin Institute of Regional History.

These files will be provided according to the following terms:

The Columbia Basin Institute of Regional History retains all rights to the supplied files.  The Applicant agrees that neither the downloaded files nor any copies, either physical or electronic, will be sold, distributed, shared, loaned, exchanged, traded, transferred, transmitted, rented, leased, deposited or given to any other individual, company or organization, for any reason what-so-ever.  Any copies created by the Applicant, either physical or electronic, must be destroyed at the conclusion of the project.

The Applicant understands that acquiring these files is for the use as per the Applicant’s stated purpose [i.e., personal research] and will not be used for any other project without permission.

All responsibility for copyright infringement and invasion of privacy arising from use of reproductions is assumed by the user.

All files used for publication or display must credit the Columbia Basin Image Bank and the partner institution if applicable (name to be supplied).

This image is only to be used by the purchaser named in the ‘Billing’ fields.
